From humble beginnings
My love affair with the breed started as a young child. I grew up with them as our family dogs and have very fond memories of them sitting on the creek edge watching over us playing in the water. They were our shadows, no matter what we were doing, so it was inevitable that when we started our own family they would be the breed I was drawn to.
Enter the dog show world
Our journey in to the world of showing Rottweilers started with a lovely dog, Ch Schwarzstern Ace, we bought from Haley Shaw (Vonhalla Rottweilers) in Perth WA. He was a truly beautiful soul and, after being convinced by another rott owner at obedience training, we ventured in to the world of dog shows. Having a history of showing horses I figured it couldnt be that hard!
Ace was a true gentleman and if I knew then what I know now, we would have been a force to reckon with in the show and obedience rings. I have come such a very long way as a handler since those days and I have some lovely dogs, and breeders, to thank for helping me get to where I am now. I will never forget my first shows with him. We arrived that day having pretty much no clue what was going to be asked of us. Thankfully the Dobermann exhibitors made sure I made it in when I was called, and I simply followed the dog in front when we were in the ring. The judge must have realised it was my first show with him, as she walked over and stacked my dog for me, stepped back, and awarded him dog challenge. She did the same again with the Best of Breed he went on to win. I will never forget her kindness and patience, and her obvious forgiveness for my total lack of show knowledge!

The here and now
We couldn't have travelled this road without the support of some great mentors and breeders and the dogs we have been entrusted to own and love.
We currently own and regularly campaign some lovely Rottweilers in the All Breeds rings in Darwin, and travel often to Alice Springs for shows. Our dogs have been awarded multiple Best Exhibit in Shows, Multiple Runner Up to Best Exhibit in Shows, and the Best in Group wins have been too many to tally.
We whelped our first litter in December 2014 and we do not breed often. It is always done with the utmost consideration to not only the physical attributes the combination can offer, but staying true to the correct rottweiler temperament that make these dogs the amazing family guardians they were always meant to be.
